SHEPHERDS of LIFE

The twelve Apostles appointed by Christ
Were given power to cast out evil within.
He sent them forth to preach, teach and heal
As God’s shepherd’s from Heaven to men.

Republicans and democrats now campaign for office
In God’s land of liberty, freedom and choice.
Deliberately shaping their future in history
By their judgment, accomplishment and voice.

Once more we must choose our shepherds of life
Driven by love, liberty and country’s call.
Propelled by duty, honor and faith
Pledging to protect and defend justice for all.

Our world has become more dangerous than ever
Due to war, hate, plunder and disease.
Take heed therefore and ponder your vote
As you pray who to vote for on your knees.

I think if Obama is considering Clinton as his VP I hope, before he does, that he will remember that history has a habit of repeating itself. Think of 1960 and then 1963.

I think that by visiting govtrack.us you will get a much better understanding of the two potentials. Average out the time in office et al. Hillary isn't a "true" agent of change, nor is Obama, but overall, he's more progressive, has better ideas, and better people surrounding him. Hillary has shown herself to be all about HILLARY, and not about the democratic party, democracy or the democratic process. Let her save face, lose gracefully, support Obama, and become Senate Majority Leader. However, at her current rate, (pushed by the self-destructive narcissist husband Bill, she's on the verge of career suicide!
